China Resources Double-Crane Pharmaceutical (600062.SH) announced that recently, its wholly-owned subsidiary China Resources Zizhu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("China Resources Zizhu") received the "Drug Supplementary Application Approval Notice" for Propranolol Hydrochloride Injection issued by the National Medical Products Administration. Upon review, the supplementary application to add a 2ml:2mg specification for this product was approved, and a drug approval number was issued. This product has passed the generic drug quality and efficacy consistency evaluation. This drug is indicated for: 1. Control of supraventricular tachyarrhythmias and ventricular arrhythmias, especially those related to catecholamines or caused by digitalis. It can be used to control ventricular rate in atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation where digitalis has poor efficacy, and can also be used for refractory premature contractions to improve patient symptoms. 2. Angina pectoris of effort. 3. Pheochromocytoma, used in combination with alpha-blockers to control tachycardia.
