KWOON CHUNG BUS (00306) Announces Profit Growth to Approximately HK$70 Million for the Expected Mid-term Comprehensive Pre-tax Profit.

Kwoon Chung Bus (00306) announced that the group is expected to achieve a comprehensive profit before tax of approximately HK$70 million for the six months ending on September 30, 2025, compared to around HK$10 million in the same period in 2024. The increase in the comprehensive profit before tax is mainly due to (i) the growth in the number of people entering and leaving Hong Kong, significantly driving passenger demand and increasing the main operating revenue during the reporting period; (ii) the decrease in fuel prices leading to a reduction in fuel costs, combined with the group's continued effective cost control measures, resulting in a continuous improvement in overall gross profit margin during the reporting period; and (iii) the general decrease in Hong Kong interbank rates from the previous period, thereby lowering the group's borrowing costs during the reporting period.
