CHINA NEWCITY (01321) announced that on September 15, 2025, the company entered into a service agreement with EXIO Group Limited (EXIO), under which EXIO agreed to provide tokenization services to the company: legal document coordination, smart contract development, smart contract auditing, wallet solutions, token access on the EXIO platform, coordination of investor know-your-customer procedures, initial distribution of virtual assets, and secondary trading.
The announcement stated that the group will leverage Hong Kong's status as an international financial center and regulatory environment to further deepen cooperation with leaders in the digital asset industry. It strategically explores and layouts digital assets to drive the re-release of existing asset values.
It is reported that EXIO is a licensed virtual asset trading platform in Hong Kong invested by the Huasheng Group under Sina, and has obtained a virtual asset trading platform operating license from the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong in December 2024.
