MINSHENG EDU (01569): HKIAC makes a partial ruling ordering the respondent to fulfill the relevant terms of the SPA.
Minsheng Education (01569) issued a statement, involving the arbitration managed by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC). The arbitration concerns a dispute between the company's subsidiary Minsheng Vocational Education Co., Ltd. ("Minsheng Vocational Education" or the "Respondent") and Leed Education Holding Limited, National Education Holding Limited, and Hyde Education Holding Limited (collectively the "Applicants") regarding the dispute arising from the option to sell 49% equity of the LiDe International Education Group Limited under the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) entered into by the parties in 2018.
MINSHENG EDU (01569) announced that an arbitration managed by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC) is taking place. The arbitration involves a dispute between the company's subsidiary Minsheng Vocational Education Limited ("Minsheng Vocational Education" or "Respondent") and Leed Education Holding Limited, National Education Holding Limited, and Hyde Education Holding Limited (collectively referred to as "Applicants") regarding the exercise of the option to sell 49% equity interest in Leed International Education Group Limited under a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) entered into by both parties in 2018.
On February 6, 2026, HKIAC issued a partial award ruling that the Respondent must comply with the relevant terms of the SPA, pay damages (if any) for breaching the SPA, and provide other remedies, including interest. The final award from HKIAC will be issued at a later date.
Minsheng Vocational Education is seeking legal advice from its legal advisors on the partial award and reserves all rights to take necessary and appropriate actions concerning the arbitration, partial award, and subsequent final award.
