TOM GROUP (02383) released its annual results for the year ending December 31, 2024. The group achieved a comprehensive income of HK$747 million, a decrease of 4.77% compared to the previous year. The loss attributable to equity holders of the company was HK$256 million, an increase of 15.63% compared to the previous year. The loss per share was 6.47 HK cents.
The group's losses not including net financing costs and taxes were HK$18 million and HK$256 million, mainly due to the increase in financing costs in 2024 and no reversal of impairment losses. Excluding one-time impacts of the reversal of Yolu impairment losses of approximately HK$14 million in 2023 and impairment losses of approximately HK$8 million on social network group goodwill, the losses excluding net financing costs and taxes increased from HK$15 million in 2023 to HK$18 million in 2024.
