Hubei Wanrun New Energy Technology (688275.SH) announced that the company recently signed a "Specialized Training Agreement for Educational Enhancement" (referred to as the "Training Agreement") with its former core technical staff member, Chen Shitao. According to the Training Agreement, the company will provide Chen Shitao with specialized full-time training to enhance his education at Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai) Ocean Science and Technology College for a Ph.D. degree with a research focus on lithium-ion battery cathode materials. During his full-time study at the university, Chen Shitao will need to terminate his labor relationship with the company. Within 7 days of obtaining the relevant Ph.D. graduation certificate, Chen Shitao will report back to the company and go through the re-employment procedures to resume his labor relationship with the company. As a result, Chen Shitao has recently applied to resign from his position at the company. After resigning, during his full-time study period, Chen Shitao will continue to provide technical services to the company in the capacity of a technical consultant.
