On January 21st, the National Energy Administration released the 2024 national electricity industry statistics. By the end of December, the cumulative installed power generation capacity in the country was about 3.35 billion kilowatts, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year. Among them, CECEP Solar Energy's installed power generation capacity was about 0.89 billion kilowatts, an increase of 45.2% year-on-year; wind power installed capacity was about 0.52 billion kilowatts, an increase of 18.0% year-on-year.
In 2024, the average utilization of power generation equipment in power plants of 6000 kilowatts and above nationwide was 3442 hours, a decrease of 157 hours compared to the same period last year; the total investment in power projects by major power generation companies in the country was 1.167 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.1% year-on-year; the investment in grid projects was 608.3 billion yuan, an increase of 15.3% year-on-year.
