SHIMAO GROUP (00813) announced that during the hearing held on January 16, 2025 regarding the plan, the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (the High Court) has directed: (1) a meeting of the scheme creditors to be convened to consider and, if appropriate, approve (with or without modifications) the proposed arrangements with the company and the scheme creditors (the Scheme Meeting). The Scheme Meeting is scheduled to be held on February 24, 2025; and (2) a substantive hearing to be held at the High Court on March 13, 2025 at 10:00 am (Hong Kong time) to determine whether to approve the scheme.
