LEGION CONSO (02129) announced that on January 10, 2025, the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Rejoice Container, entered into a construction contract with contractor Soon He Construction Pte. Ltd. Under this agreement, the contractor agreed to undertake construction work to build a three-storey single-user industrial building, with a contract value of SGD 5.408 million (excluding goods and services tax).
The group is primarily engaged in providing container yard services, as well as installing industrial machinery and equipment and mechanical engineering. Therefore, construction projects at the group's business premises are particularly important.
Currently, the group has a fleet consisting of 55 prime movers, 485 trailers, and 21 flatbed trucks, as well as six frontal cranes, two kalmar cranes, and three forklifts. In addition, the group operates three logistics yards and three warehouses, totaling approximately 48,980 square meters and 32,343 square meters respectively, to provide outdoor storage and warehousing services as part of the value-added transportation services offered to customers.
To cope with the increasing production output and fleet size, the group has been considering (but not limited to) factors such as location, available floor area, facilities, and lease terms in order to identify a piece of land that the group deems suitable and suitable for the development and expansion of the group's business, and subsequently enter into a construction agreement.
