Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group (002385.SZ) announced that on the evening of September 6, 2023, the official website of Brazil issued an announcement regarding the resolution of the National Committee for Biosafety Technology (CTNBio) meeting on August 31, 2023. Among the resolutions, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the company's controlling subsidiary Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group Biotech") named DBNBCBrazilLtda. (Chinese name: Brazil Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group Biotech Co., Ltd., referred to as "Brazil Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group") has obtained the "Safety License for Biological Safety (CQB).
According to the requirements of the Brazilian Biosafety Law, after obtaining the Biological Safety License (CQB), Brazil Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group has the qualifications to independently carry out research and development, regulatory registration, and commercial promotion activities related to genetically modified organisms in Brazil.
