Popular departing cities include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Xi'an, Nanjing, and Changsha. The passenger flow is relatively concentrated on routes such as Chengdu to Xi'an, Beijing to Shanghai, Guangzhou to Nanning, Beijing to Hohhot, Guangzhou to Changsha, Guangzhou to Shantou, Guangzhou to Zhanjiang, Beijing to Shenyang, Beijing to Taiyuan, and Wuhan to Changsha.
