According to official news from Taobao, starting from September 27th, consumers can use WeChat Pay when shopping on Taobao. From the specific display page, after consumers have completed their product selection, they can choose "WeChat Pay" on the payment page to smoothly complete the payment, providing a consistent experience with other payment tools. Update the app to the latest version to experience this feature. As early as September 5th, Taobao platform had announced the addition of WeChat Pay capabilities on Taobao website in order to enhance the shopping experience for consumers. Taobao plans to add WeChat Pay capabilities and gradually open it to all Taobao sellers after September 12th.
