China Risun GP (01907) signed a tripartite strategic cooperation framework agreement with Aerospace 101 on liquid hydrogen.

CHINA RISUN GP(01907) has announced that its subsidiary, Hebei Xuyang Energy Co., Ltd. (Hebei Xuyang Energy), recently signed a trilateral strategic cooperation framework agreement with Beijing Aerospace Test Technology Research Institute (Aerospace 101 Institute) and Dingzhou Municipal People's Government. This agreement aims to focus on the Xiong region of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area in China, and to carry out comprehensive cooperation in various aspects such as the industrial chain of liquid hydrogen "production, storage, transportation, refueling, utilization, and research", high-end hydrogen energy technologies and advanced equipment applications, and high-end chemical products, etc., with the goal of expanding nationwide. Since 2020, the group has actively participated in hydrogen industrialization plans in various cities in China, as well as investing in new hydrogen energy projects. In addition to being one of the world's largest independent coke producers and suppliers, one of the group's strategic plans is to focus on the rapid development of the hydrogen energy industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of China, and to become a leading supplier of clean and low-carbon hydrogen energy. The content of this comprehensive cooperation includes liquid/gas business cooperation, where Hebei Xuyang Energy will provide medium-term supply for Aerospace 101 Institute, jointly build a liquid hydrogen plant, create a 5 tons/day liquid hydrogen demonstration project, carry out liquid hydrogen transportation network construction, gradually establish a national liquid hydrogen supply network, cooperate on hydrogen energy research and development technology, liquid hydrogen application scenario development and refueling station cooperation, chemical product technology cooperation, aerospace launch site liquid hydrogen supply cooperation, hydrogen energy investment and financing, and a series of other collaborations. This comprehensive cooperation on liquid hydrogen is beneficial for the group to continue developing advanced technologies, in order to supply hydrogen energy products in liquid form with a longer transport distance throughout China. Aerospace 101 Institute is affiliated with the 6th Research Institute of China Aerospace Hi-Tech Holding Group, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Aerospace Hi-Tech Holding Group Co., Ltd. According to the director of the company, Aerospace 101 Institute is the largest and most advanced ground comprehensive test research base for Shaanxi Aerospace Power Hi-tech in China, the only research and testing base for hydrogen-oxygen engines, the earliest completed Shaanxi Aerospace Power Hi-tech comprehensive test research base in China. Aerospace 101 Institute owns China's only aerospace liquid propellant research center, is the first to conduct low-temperature technology research and aerospace hydrogen energy engineering applications in China, and is currently the largest unit for liquid hydrogen production, storage, and transportation applications in China, and drafted national standards for liquid hydrogen. Aerospace 101 Institute has made outstanding achievements in solving large-scale cryogenic equipment production and achieving equipment localization and industrialization. Significant progress and breakthroughs have been made in difficult problems related to low-temperature high-speed thermodynamics and structural mechanics, continuous high-efficiency normal hydrogen conversion technology, deep low-temperature high-vacuum precision measurement and control and conduction technology, multi-stage heat exchange flow matching and thermal management process optimization, and the efficient reception, transmission, and storage of liquid hydrogen, all of which have strongly promoted the development of China's hydrogen energy industry.
