Liaoning Shenhua Holdings (600653.SH) announced that the board of directors has received the resignation letter from Chairman and CEO Li Jingwei. Li Jingwei has applied to resign from his positions as a director, chairman, and member of the board's professional committees of the 12th board of directors of the company, as well as from his position as CEO, due to job changes. After his resignation, Li Jingwei will no longer hold any positions within the company.
The board of directors has agreed to elect Gao Xingang as the chairman of the 12th board of directors of the company, and to assume the responsibilities of the various special committees of the board previously held by Li Jingwei, until the end of this board's term. It has also agreed to appoint Gao Xingang as the CEO of the company, until the end of this board's term.
