China Aluminum International Engineering Corporation (02068) announced that on September 23, 2024, its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenyang Aluminum Magnesium Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. (referred to as Shenyang Institute) partnered with China 22 Metallurgical Group Limited (referred to as 22 Metallurgy), the company's wholly-owned subsidiary China Nonferrous Metals Industry Sixth Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd. (referred to as Sixth Metallurgy), and Yunnan Jiantou Mechanical Manufacturing and Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as Yunnan Jiantou Mechanical) to form a consortium, winning the bid for the Zhaa 350,000 ton green power aluminum project in Tongliao City (Zha Aluminum Phase II). The total contract price is RMB 2.7986 billion.
Shenyang Institute is responsible for overall project design and equipment/material procurement, while 22 Metallurgy, Sixth Metallurgy, and Yunnan Jiantou Mechanical are responsible for project construction and installation work.
