According to data from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, Customs data shows that in August 2024, China's import and export trade volume of construction machinery was $4.655 billion, an increase of 9.02% year-on-year, with imports totaling $224 million, an increase of 5.54% year-on-year; exports totaling $4.432 billion, an increase of 9.2% year-on-year.
From January to August 2024, China's import and export trade volume of construction machinery was $36.403 billion, an increase of 4.55% year-on-year. Imports amounted to $1.751 billion, a decrease of 0.14% year-on-year; exports amounted to $34.653 billion, an increase of 4.8% year-on-year.
By calculating the export amount in RMB, the export amount in August was RMB 31.608 billion, an increase of 8.98% year-on-year. From January to August, the export amount was RMB 246.333 billion, an increase of 7.38% year-on-year.
