The Ministry of Veterans Affairs and four other departments jointly issued the "Management Measures for the Use of Veteran Honorary Badges".

In order to effectively regulate the use and management of honor badges for retired servicemen, and better play the role of honoring and inspiring honor badges, and legally protect the honor and reputation of soldiers and retired servicemen, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the State Cyberspace Administration, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission jointly issued the "Management Measures for the Use of Honor Badges for Retired Servicemen". The "Measures" will be implemented from the date of issue. Next, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs will work together with the State Cyberspace Administration, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, as well as the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission and the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Central Military Commission, to jointly promote the implementation of the "Measures", further establish a clear direction that the honor of soldiers is sacred and inviolable, and create a strong atmosphere of respecting the profession of soldiers and honoring retired servicemen.
