On September 29th, Li Chao, the deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the National Development and Reform Commission and the spokesperson, stated that the National Development and Reform Commission will work with relevant departments to promote the accelerated application and popularization of new generation intelligent terminals and intelligent bodies from three aspects. Firstly, strengthen the construction of a policy environment with clear guidance, respect for rules, and standardized development, and formulate policy guidelines. Secondly, promote technical research and development and open source sharing in coordination, accelerate innovation, and support collaborative innovation between artificial intelligence companies and industry leaders. Thirdly, exert efforts simultaneously on the supply and demand sides to drive market expansion. On the supply side, focus on key areas such as artificial intelligence + education, healthcare, elderly care, and transportation, support enterprises in conducting pilots and demonstrations actively, and create more practical, user-friendly new products and applications. On the demand side, leverage the advantage of China's massive market scale, use industry application scenarios as traction, innovate consumer subsidies, and speed up empowerment of intelligent terminals and intelligent bodies in all walks of life, entering thousands of households.
