Zhejiang's regional innovation capacity has ranked fourth in the country for four consecutive years.

On September 27th, the "China Regional Innovation Capacity Evaluation Report 2025," jointly compiled by the Development Research Center of the State Council and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology, was released. The innovation capacity of Zhejiang region has ranked fourth in the country for four consecutive years. The comprehensive evaluation of regional innovation capacity includes five dimensions: knowledge creation, enterprise innovation, innovation environment, innovation performance, and knowledge acquisition. In terms of individual indicators, Zhejiang ranks fourth in the country in three dimensions: enterprise innovation, innovation environment, and innovation performance, and fifth in the country in two dimensions: knowledge creation and knowledge acquisition.
