On the afternoon of the 28th, Wang Hao, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, presided over a special meeting of the Provincial Party Committee. The meeting emphasized that building a new energy system in Zhejiang is an upgraded version of green and low-carbon development and energy security projects, with the two forming a comprehensive work system. It is necessary to anchor the goal of basically completing the construction of the new energy system in Zhejiang by 2030, scientifically formulate work plans, further study and implement the core connotation, vigorously develop green energy, promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy structure, enhance energy security capabilities, change energy consumption patterns, improve energy utilization efficiency, and integrate energy conservation throughout the entire process of economic and social development and in all fields; further research and set work objectives, proactively plan the significant issues of energy total quantity, structure, layout, etc., systematically promote the development of sources, grids, storage, energy conservation and emissions reduction; further strengthen policy support, improve work mechanisms, solidify responsibilities of all parties, fully leverage the role of special working groups, establish a province-wide promotion system, and carry out work in a solid and thorough manner.
