Minister of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security of South Korea and head of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters, Yoon Ha-joong, stated that as of now, 46 out of the 647 government administrative information services that were interrupted due to the fire at the National Intelligence Service have been restored to normal, including widely used postal and financial services. Yoon Ha-joong expressed deep apologies for the inconvenience caused to the people by the interruption of government administrative information services at a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters on that day. He also pointed out that it is difficult to immediately restore 96 services in the government administrative information system due to the fire and that the government will soon develop a plan to collaborate with various parties to migrate and repair data in order to minimize the inconvenience to the public. According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters, the government's interrupted administrative information system is gradually being restarted and normal services are gradually being restored.
