According to the UAE National News Agency, the UAE, which has been investing billions of dollars to become a major player in the global artificial intelligence field, its president met with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The discussion between UAE President Mohammed and Altman focused on strengthening cooperation between OpenAI and UAE-related institutions, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence research and practical applications. The news agency added: "This cooperation aligns with the UAE's vision to build an integrated artificial intelligence ecosystem, which will support the country's development plans and help it build a knowledge-based economy."
