The total mileage of rural roads in Qinghai province reaches 68,900 kilometers.

According to the Qinghai Provincial Department of Transportation, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the province has invested a total of 76.8 billion yuan in the construction of ordinary provincial roads and rural roads. 16,700 kilometers of new roads have been built or renovated, bringing the total mileage of rural roads in the province to 68,900 kilometers, accounting for 76% of the total mileage of roads in the province. The level of road network smoothness and accessibility has been significantly improved.
