Reporters learned from the earthquake command office in Dingxi City, Gansu Province that at 5:49 am on September 27, 2025, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred in Longxi County, Dingxi City. The epicenter was 10 kilometers deep, located at 34.91 degrees north latitude and 104.58 degrees east longitude. The earthquake affected 30 townships in Longxi County and Zhang County, with 11 people sustaining minor injuries - 10 in Longxi County and 1 in Zhang County. All have been hospitalized for treatment, and as of 4:00 pm, 5 people have been discharged, with the rest in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries.
