According to news from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, on September 25th and 26th local time, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Lecheng led a delegation to visit Ethiopia, attended the China-Africa Digital and Emerging Industries Cooperation Seminar, and held talks with the Minister of Industry of Ethiopia and the Minister of Innovation and Technology to promote exchanges in the industrial and digital fields between China and Egypt, and China and Africa. During the visit, Li Lecheng held separate meetings with the Ethiopian Minister of Industry, Aleyber, and the Minister of Innovation and Technology, Mora, to exchange views on promoting practical cooperation in the industrial and digital fields between China and Egypt, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Information and Communication Technology field between the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and conducted on-site inspections of Chinese-funded enterprises in Ethiopia.
