The conference voted on and passed the list of scrutineers, and elected Li Jiantao as the Mayor of Shangrao City through anonymous voting. Li Jiantao had previously worked in Henan, serving as the Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Weihui City, Deputy Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, member of the Luohe City Committee and Secretary General, as well as member of the Luohe City Committee and Deputy Mayor in charge of executive duties.
