Gansu Longxi 5.6 magnitude earthquake, China Earthquake Administration initiates level three emergency response service.
The China Earthquake Networks Center officially determined that a 5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred in Longxi County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province at 5:49 am on September 27, with a depth of 10 kilometers. After the earthquake, the China Earthquake Administration quickly initiated a Level III emergency response, requiring relevant units to conduct joint consultations, strengthen earthquake monitoring and post-earthquake trend analysis, and promptly report relevant information. Currently, the Gansu Provincial Seismological Bureau has dispatched a team to the earthquake zone to assist the local government in carrying out emergency response work. It is understood that there were noticeable tremors in Dingxi, Lanzhou, and other areas in Gansu Province.
