The two-year US Treasury yield rose by more than 7 basis points this week, with a significant uptrend on Thursday.
On Friday in New York trading, the yield on the US 10-year benchmark Treasury bond rose by 0.57 basis points to 4.1755%, with a cumulative increase of 4.81 basis points for the week. It had fallen to 4.0965% on September 24 and rebounded to 4.1989% on the 25th. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond fell by 1.23 basis points to 3.6430%, but then slightly dipped to 3.6369% after the release of PCE inflation data favored by the Federal Reserve at 20:30 Beijing time, hitting a daily low before quickly rebounding to 3.6676% to set a new daily high. For the week, it increased by 7.15 basis points, falling to 3.557% in the Asia-Pacific session on September 24 before rising to 3.6676% on the 25th.
