The US Labor Commission withdraws accusations of illegal conduct against Apple CEO Cook.
According to reports, the US Department of Labor has dropped the charges against Apple CEO Tim Cook for violating federal labor laws, which is one of many cases where the agency has taken a more pro-business approach under the leadership of Trump. The dropped charges included allegations that Cook violated workers' rights in an all-staff email he sent in September 2021. In the email, Cook stated that Apple was doing everything possible to track down those leaking confidential meeting information, and said "those who leak confidential information do not belong here."
