Beijing exempts catering companies that meet the conditions from paying value-added tax.

On September 26th, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, together with several departments including the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, issued the "Several Measures on Further Optimizing the Business Environment and Promoting the High-Quality Development of Beijing's Catering Industry". Among them, it is mentioned to implement preferential tax policies. Up to December 31, 2027, catering enterprises that meet the conditions will be exempt from value-added tax as small-scale taxpayers, small and micro-profit enterprises, and individual industrial and commercial households policies, for value-added tax small-scale taxpayers with monthly sales of less than 100,000 yuan.
