Huaguang Huaneng signed a 160 million contract to expand the Southeast Asian market by supplying residual heat boilers for a power plant in Cambodia.
Recently, Huaguang Environmental Protection Energy Group Co., Ltd. in Wuxi successfully signed a contract for the purchase of waste heat boilers for the 2450MW Combined Cycle Power Plant project in the Kampong Chhnang province of Cambodia, selling the waste heat boilers to China Machinery Engineering Corporation for a contract value of 160.1 million yuan. The contract will come into effect after both parties have signed and stamped it, with delivery expected to be completed by 2026. This contract will not have a significant impact on the company's performance in 2025, but it will have a positive impact on future performance, with the annual power generation expected to account for one quarter of Cambodia's national total after the project is completed. However, there are risks in fulfilling the contract related to policies, regulations, markets, technology, and force majeure events.
