Today, the Chinese 15th Arctic scientific expedition organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources returned to Shanghai on the "Snow Dragon 2" ship, marking the successful completion of the mission. This expedition was jointly implemented by the "Snow Dragon 2", "Polar" , "Deep Sea No. 1" and "Explorer No. 3" ships. It was the largest-scale Arctic scientific expedition in China and coordinated the implementation of relevant tasks of the national key research and development program. With the support of the "Snow Dragon 2" ship, the "Deep Sea No. 1" ship carried the "Jiaolong" successfully conducted the first manned deep dive in the Arctic ice region by China, marking the continuous enhancement of China's deep-sea entry and deep-sea detection capabilities.
