In response to recent requests from the US Apple company to abolish the EU tech regulation "Digital Markets Act", European Commission spokesperson Renier made a strong response on the 25th. He stated that since the implementation of the "Digital Markets Act", Apple has raised various questions about the law and refused to engage in negotiations with the European Commission to help them comply with the law. Renier said that another investigation into Apple is still ongoing, and "all options are on the table". Apple had previously been fined 500 million euros for violating the relevant terms of the "Digital Markets Act". On the 24th, Apple issued a statement calling for the EU to abolish the "Digital Markets Act" and implement "legislation that is more in line with the intended purpose".
