Two departments jointly issued opinions to strengthen the construction of social organization councils.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Social Work recently jointly issued the "Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Social Organization Boards", further clarifying the target requirements and practical paths for the construction of social organization boards, continuously improving the self-construction of social organizations and their level of service to the public. The "Opinions" propose that the goal is to build social organization legal entities with clear institutional responsibilities, smooth coordination, and effective internal governance, focusing on the construction and capacity building of boards of directors, and striving to improve the operation, protection, and supervision of boards of directors and other systems, promote the full and effective role of boards of directors in internal governance of social organizations, and continuously improve the self-construction of social organizations and their level of service to the public.
