Sichuan: Real estate consumption needs to continue to work hard to stabilize and prevent further declines. "One city, one policy" should be formulated to support housing policies.
On September 25, Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, presided over a special meeting of the Provincial Party Committee to study and deploy further efforts to boost consumption. The meeting emphasized that efforts should continue to stabilize the real estate market, with tailored policies for housing support in each city, accelerating the digestion of existing inventory through various means. Furthermore, there should be an emphasis on constructing "good houses" to better meet the demand for high-quality housing consumption and unleash the potential for home buying. Additionally, improving housing demand should be explored and tapped into, with the swift implementation of city-specific real estate policies, ongoing urban renewal projects, and upgrades for old neighborhoods to build more "good houses." By promoting real estate development, more consumption growth can be stimulated.
