China Merchants Group: Reception of one 82,000 deadweight tonnage bulk carrier "Mingfu"

China Merchants Shipping announced that on September 25, 2025, the company received a Kamchatka-type bulk carrier "Mingfu" with a carrying capacity of 82,000 deadweight tons in Yizheng, Yangzhou through its wholly-owned single ship subsidiary. This vessel is the first of the four new energy-saving and environmentally friendly Kamchatka-type bulk carriers ordered by the company in 2023, with flexible capabilities for transporting multiple types of cargo, especially specialized in grain transportation. It will effectively expand the company's own Panama-type fleet scale, enhance market competitiveness and sustainable profitability. As of the date of the announcement, the company's bulk carrier sector owns and operates 103 vessels, with 15 vessels on order.
