The Fifth World Biosphere Reserve Conference successfully concluded in Hangzhou.

According to the news released by Hangzhou, the Fifth World Biosphere Reserve Congress closed successfully in Hangzhou on September 25. With the theme of "Shaping a Sustainable Future for People and Nature", this congress hosted 1 ministerial forum, 5 plenary sessions, 17 regional network meetings, 76 side events and parallel forums. Approximately 4000 guests from over 150 countries and regions engaged in in-depth discussions to further promote the ideas and measures for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and achieve sustainable development. The congress consolidated consensus, deliberated and formally released the "UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Program and its World Biosphere Reserve Network Hangzhou Strategic Action Plan" and the "Hangzhou Declaration".
