Passenger vehicle association: Pickup truck market sales of 40,000 units in August remained stable year-on-year.

According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, 40,000 pickups were sold in the market in August 2025, which remained flat year-on-year but decreased by 3% compared to the previous month, placing it at a relatively high level in the past five years. From January to August 2025, a total of 369,000 pickups were sold in the market, representing a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
