The first United Nations Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient Global Economy Summit was held at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the 24th. Participants discussed how to address the challenges in the development finance field and called for reforming the global financing framework, practicing multilateralism, and increasing the voice of developing countries. UN Secretary-General Guterres said in his opening speech that to address the challenges facing the world today, the international financial architecture needs reform. He said that the share of wealthy countries in the global economy is slowly decreasing, while the share of emerging economies is rising, leaving many countries behind. In addition, the scarcity of public resources and unfair systems make reform inevitable.
