Bank of China: Agrees to nominate Mr. Cai Zhao as a candidate for executive director

The announcement of Bank of China on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange states that we believe Mr. Cai Zhao's qualifications for appointment and nomination procedures comply with relevant laws and regulations as well as provisions in the company's articles of association. We approve the nomination of Mr. Cai Zhao as a candidate for executive director of the bank and submit it for approval at the shareholders' meeting.
