Journalists learned from the "China Carbon Market Conference 2025" held in Shanghai on the 24th that as of the end of August, the cumulative trading volume of national carbon emission rights trading market is nearly 700 million tons, with a transaction value of approximately 48 billion yuan. Among them, the annual transaction value in 2024 set a new record since the market started online trading in 2021.
