Zhixin Finance APP learned that according to data released by the China Passenger Car Association, from September 1st to 21st, the national retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.191 million units, an increase of 1% compared to the same period last year and an 8% increase compared to the previous month. So far this year, the cumulative retail sales of passenger cars have reached 15.955 million units, a 9% increase year-on-year. From September 1st to 21st, the national retail sales of new energy passenger cars reached 697,000 units, a 10% increase compared to the same period last year and an 11% increase compared to the previous month. The retail penetration rate of new energy passenger cars in the national market was 58.5%, and the cumulative retail sales this year have reached 8.267 million units, a 24% increase year-on-year.
