The Ministry of Transport, the National Railway Administration, and China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. issued the "Action Plan for Promoting the Deep Integration Development of Container Rail-water Intermodal Transport with 'One Port, One Policy'" with the focus on integrated infrastructure connectivity, coordinated intermodal organization, standardized rules alignment, shared intermodal data, and market cultivation linkage. The plan aims to promote the deep integration development of container rail-water intermodal transport with 'One Port, One Policy', with an annual average growth rate of about 15% in container rail-water intermodal transport volume by 2027.
