Hubei: Supporting the research and application of large artificial intelligence models

The General Office of the People's Government of Hubei Province has issued "Several Measures to Accelerate the Collaborative Development of Algorithm Network Storage in Hubei Province", which includes support for the research and application of artificial intelligence big models. With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's artificial intelligence big model public service platform in Wuhan, a large model open source community system will be built to promote the open source of core links such as models, systems, data, and scenarios. Focusing on the "51020" advanced manufacturing industry cluster, a number of lightweight industry models will be cultivated to promote the evolution of big models towards intelligent entities. Several industry-specific models in the industrial field will be selected each year, with a maximum subsidy of 5 million yuan to the lead research and development unit based on 8% of the research and development costs. Support will be provided to cities and prefectures to take the lead in building a batch of general big models and vertically industry application big models in fields such as industry, medical, education, transportation, tourism, urban governance, and water source protection.
