The General Office of the People's Government of Hubei Province issued the "Several Measures to Accelerate the Collaborative Development of Calculating Network Storage in Hubei Province", which mentioned that according to the requirements of the national computing power layout and in combination with the supply and demand situation of computing power in Hubei Province, it is scientifically laid out for the three major computing power circles of "Wuhan, Yichang, Xiangyang", building an advanced computing power cluster in central China, creating a national "East Calculating-West Computing" relay station and a national computing power network hub node. Encouraging Wuhan to build an advanced computing center with national influence, Yichang to create the "City of Computing Power", Xiangyang and Shiyan to build regional computing power highlands. Encouraging cities and prefectures such as Huangshi, Jingmen, Ezhou, and Xiaogan to expand the application scenarios of computing power, guiding computing power to empower the development of emerging industries. Relying on the national aerospace industry base in Wuhan, exploring the integration of space information technology and computing power infrastructure, proactively deploying the space-based computing power network and space computing center, and providing space edge computing services. By 2027, the province will have formed a multi-level computing power infrastructure system that is scientifically laid out, functionally complete, interconnected, and radiates throughout the country. By 2027, the total computing power of the province will reach 25 EFLOPS, with new computing facilities such as smart computing and supercomputing accounting for no less than 90%, establishing a provincial computing power interconnected platform system, realizing cross-domain scheduling of computing power interconnection, ensuring a 5-millisecond ultra-short delay between computing networks in various cities and prefectures, deeply integrating into the national "East Calculating-West Computing" project and the national integrated computing power network, further improving the quality and efficiency of computing power in the province, achieving efficient matching of computing power supply and demand, and basically forming a coordinated development pattern of computing network storage that is reasonably laid out, interconnected, mutually beneficial in construction and use, and green and low-carbon.
