According to the latest report released by Omdia, the AI data center chip market continues to grow rapidly, but there are signs that the growth rate is starting to slow down. The vigorous development of AI infrastructure has led to a significant upward revision in forecasts: the shipment value of GPUs and AI accelerators is expected to reach $123 billion in 2024, increase to $207 billion in 2025, and reach $286 billion in 2030. Although the market's annual growth rate is expected to exceed 250% between 2022 and 2024, the growth rate from 2024 to 2025 is expected to drop to around 67%. The proportion of AI infrastructure spending in total data center spending is expected to peak in 2026 (by then, almost all incremental spending will be driven by AI), and then gradually decline by 2030.
