Pakistan issues preliminary ruling on anti-dumping of cefalexin from China
According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on September 17, 2025, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued the latest announcement of case ADC68, making an affirmative preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping of cephradine originating from or imported from China, preliminary ruling that a temporary anti-dumping duty of 21.64% should be imposed on the products involved, effective from the date of the announcement, with a validity period of four months. This case involves products under Pakistan's tariff number 2941.9090, which are used to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as skin, throat, tonsils, urinary tract infections, etc. The final ruling is expected to be made within 180 days from the date of the preliminary ruling. Stakeholders can apply for a hearing within 15 days from the date of the announcement.
