Fourteen rivers across the country have experienced floods exceeding the warning levels.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, from 8:00 on September 23 to 8:00 on September 24, heavy to torrential rain fell in some areas of eastern Guangdong, southern and northeastern Fujian, southern and eastern Zhejiang. Fourteen rivers including Luoxi in the Jiulong River, along with Lianxi in the coastal areas of Fujian, along with Bengkang Water, along with the Longjiang tributary in the coastal areas of Guangdong, along with the Xunhe and Laoriver tributaries in the upper reaches of the Han River in Shaanxi and the Wei River tributary in Shaanxi. The overflowing rivers have exceeded the warning level. The maximum exceeded warning level is 0.99 meters.
