The latest "Cloud and Data Center AI Processor Forecast Report" released by Omdia shows that the AI data center chip market is experiencing rapid growth, but there are signs that the growth rate is beginning to slow down. The vigorous development of AI infrastructure has led to a significant upward revision of forecasts, with GPU and AI accelerator shipments reaching $123 billion in 2024, increasing to $207 billion in 2025, and expected to reach $286 billion in 2030. Although the market is expected to grow by over 250% per year from 2022 to 2024, the growth rate is projected to fall to around 67% from 2024 to 2025. The proportion of AI infrastructure spending to total data center expenditure is expected to peak in 2026 and gradually decline until 2030.
