The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue an orange rainstorm alert at 06:00 on September 24: It is expected that from 08:00 on September 24 to 08:00 on September 25, there will be heavy to torrential rain in parts of Guangdong, eastern and southern Guangxi, eastern and southern Fujian, northern and western Hainan Island, eastern Taiwan, central Jiangsu, central and southern Anhui, eastern Hubei, northern, eastern, and southwestern Jiangxi, eastern Zhejiang, eastern Xinjiang along the Tianshan Mountains, southwestern Yunnan, and other areas. Among them, there will be heavy rain in parts of central and southern Guangdong, southeastern Fujian, western Hainan Island, southeastern Taiwan, central Jiangsu, central Anhui, and other areas, and locally heavy rainfall in coastal and western parts of southeastern Guangdong. Some of the above-mentioned areas will experience short-term heavy rainfall, localized thunderstorms, strong winds, and other severe convective weather.
